Roadtrips… there always the best value. The Newcircle guys recently headed down to Coffs Harbour, a good 5 or so hours north of Sydney and 5 or so hours south of Brisbane, for a random jam. It all came about that during the BMX Games Flatland contest in Canberra in February a bunch of riders decided that they should all meet up at a random town for a weekend of riding and hanging out. Given that we all live in different places, this was the perfect opportunity to catch, something we normally only get to do during the Newcircle DownUnderground comps.

Due to the late notice and injuries only a handful of riders where able to make it including Rhys Mason, Thomas Infantolino from France and Shane Badman. Rhys drew the short straw of finding a decent place to ride and the big fella came up with the gold sourcing a prime spot at a local school that even had a roof over it! Given that it never seems to stop raining in the country of never ending sunshine this was gonna be an essential.

Staying in a plush beach side resort… a cabin in a caravan park, you know high-rollers and all… we had access to some of the finest beaches Coffs has to offer. Finding another covered riding spot closeby was also a bonus! Thanks to the Little Ninja for sussing it all out!

Sessions went down on Saturday and Sunday and feature interviews with both Thomas Infantolino from France and Rhys Mason were dropped so make sure you peep their photos and vids from the weekend!

Next roadtrip is likely round 2 of the Newcircle DownUnderground in Sydney on June 25… but anything can happen in the meantime!
